Rucking vs walking
The difference between rucking and ordinary walking: same habit, more load and more training effect.
From the outside, rucking looks like a walk. From the inside, it feels like a walk with more engine work.
Same habit, bigger effect
You keep the best parts of walking: low friction, fresh air and a calm pace. The weight simply makes the work larger.
That makes rucking useful for people who dislike complicated training but still want to get stronger.
When should you just walk?
If you are very tired, have joint pain or are returning after a break, a normal walk is still excellent.
Rucking is an extra gear, not a replacement for all movement.
- More heart rate
